The person for this function will be responsible for the analysis of the data coming from our sensors to detect anomalies and for the development of models and algorithms to automate these data analytics according to the requirements of the market under the final responsibility of the CTO.

The person will be responsible for the data analysis to evaluate and understand the different phenomena (such as corrosion, water ingress, ageing, …) occurring in and under the insulation of technical installations.

The validation of the models and algorithms on test and/or pilot installations (at iSensPro or together with research partners) is part of tasks of the data analyst.

The data analyst will optimize the balance between data handling in the sensor, data analytics in the local gateway and central data analytics to implement algorithms at the right level.

The data analyst will be responsible for the data management within the company.

The person will also support our customers to analyse and interpret their data and to understand the added value for their applications.

Master of engineering in electronics, ICT or materials or Master of science.

Has knowledge of data analytics methods and Machine Learning.

Able to create physical and mathematical models and implement them in software algorithms.

Has an understanding of data processing in an IT environment.

Has theoretical insights in the physical phenomena of corrosion under insulation.

Likes to work in an international environment. Mastery of languages: Dutch and English, additional language plus. Able to cooperate with different cultures.

The person for this position is responsible for designing, realising, and testing new sensors according to market requirements under the final responsibility of the CTO.

The person is responsible for both the hardware (electronic and mechanical) and the software (embedded SW in the sensor and SW for management of the sensor network and for the data handling).

The realization of test set-ups for validation of both development and manufactured sensors is part of the tasks of the engineer.

The person will also support the installation of sensors at our customers’ premises and support the technical troubleshooting to keep the monitoring system working reliably and qualitatively.
